The successful candidate will help us build strong relationships with our clients and will have the ability to help our account teams, internally and externally, to be their very best.
Required skills include: strategic planning and goal setting including timelines, monitoring and problem solving, team development, staff monitoring to ensure appropriate resource allocation (human and financial), budget management, proactive coordination of efforts among service areas and ongoing project analysis. This individual will also work closely with senior leadership to oversee select accounts and manage project teams on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years successful advertising agency experience working managing teams and being part of New Business efforts.
Responsibilities/Skills Include:
- Oversight of a good mix of B-to-C and B-to-B teams
- Establishment and implementation of strategic sales and marketing objectives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of developing accounts and team members
- Experience in managing relationships with strategic business partners
- Management of income forecasting
- 8+ years previous communications and marketing management experience in an advertising agency or integrated marketing communications firm
- Healthcare, optical and sports related experience a plus
- Previous track record of success leading and be part of business development teams is essential
- Strong budget and project management skills required.
