The Challenge:
How can we increase awareness of mental health problems and the resources to treat them at Blessing Hospital’s Newman Clinic?

The Solution:
By putting a face on adolescent and adult mental health issues, and presenting them in a dramatic, emotional way in newspaper and radio ads. Focusing on specific issues — adolescent behavior problems and suicide, adult depression and Alzheimer’s disease — allowed us to target specific audiences, rather than lumping all of the issues together in one general message. Awareness of the Newman Clinic and its services has increased dramatically as a result of this ongoing campaign.
